Austpaper is also commited FSC® Values (FSC-C112025) In accordance with FSC-STD-40-004 V3-1 and explicitly agrees currently and in the future, for as long as the relationship with the Forest Stewardship Council® exists, that all related sites and suppliers of FSC product are not directly or indirectly involved in the following unacceptable activities:
a) Illegal logging or the trade in illegal wood or forest products;
b) Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations;
c) Destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations;
d) Significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest use;
e) Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations;
f) Violation of any of the ILO Core Conventions, as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998
Austpaper is always searching the supply market to ensure that our customers are receiving the right quality product at the right price. This is achieved through our expansive global network and direct visits, more recently with regular Zoom meetings to assess capability of potential new Suppliers.
New and expanded initiatives from front office to the Warehouse allows Austpaper to perform efficiently whilst still being able to implement long term strategies to further expand and improve the quality of our work operations.
